I'm Jillian

I'm a learning and instructional designer who focuses on learners first. I offer learning services through the full learning life cycle, from needs assessment through to post-launch success metrics and engagement tracking.

There are so many cool new tools out there for learning, and I believe it's important to stay up to date on them. From closed-loop AI branching training for secure and realistic customer service engagement guidance to quick-reference guides with chatbots for employees, there are more options than ever to support teams reaching higher goals in a quickly changing enterprise landscape.

I've offered learning design services for more than 13 years now, mastering new skills along the way. I've studied the psychology behind learner needs assessment data collection and the best ways to collect accurate data while at the University of Cambridge as a Rotary International Scholar, delivered sustainable training programs as a Fulbright DAST awardee working in the Philippines with rural teaching colleges, and designed a teacher training resource database serving more than 60 institutions.

My most recent work has been based out of the UK. While I'm a USA native, I love working with international teams and helping organizations build unity across borders with culturally sensitive training. To date, I've intensively trained corporate teams in 11 countries, and created training for implementation in 26, utilizing learning champion and train-the-trainer approaches to launch lasting talent enablement capabilities, some of which are now 10+ years strong.
